How many treatments will I need?
For optimal results, most patients require 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The number of recommended treatments can vary depending on your skin and aesthetic goals. Schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our expert providers for a personalized treatment plan.
How quickly will I see results?
Most patients see a noticeable improvement after 2-3 weeks. Your skin should look and feel tighter, and your Morpheus8 treatment will have diminished the appearance of wrinkles, pores, and texture. As your body continues to produce more collagen, your skin’s appearance will continue to improve, with final results visible after approximately three months. These results should last for up to a year, depending on your skincare routine and sun exposure.
Can Morpheus8 be combined with other treatments?
Yes! We love to combine Morpheus8 Body with CoolSculpting Elite for fat reduction and skin tightening. Morpheus8 can also be combined with Botox to treat and prevent wrinkles while tightening sagging skin and promoting collagen production.
Is there anything I should avoid before and after my treatment?
Your provider may adjust pre and post care recommendations depending on treatment area, device settings and your skin type.
Morpheus8 Pre-care:
- Avoid skin sunbathing and self-tanners the week before treatment.
- Discontinue irritating topical agents (medical grade chemical exfoliants and retinol) several days prior to treatment.
Morpheus8 Post-care:
- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning. If the sun cannot be avoided, wear sun protection and a hat where possible.
- Keep the treatment area clean and moisturized.
- Avoid wearing makeup for 48 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise and saunas for several days.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. During the first three to five days post-treatment you may have some redness and swelling, but these side effects are usually mild. Localized bruising may develop depending on the treatment area. It is generally advised that you avoid heat and direct sun exposure to the treated skin for a few weeks. We recommend using at least SPF 30 sunscreen as your skin heals.
