The Eight Facts to Face About Face Shapes
Injection treatments help keep faces looking fresh, no matter what type they are.

Face The Facts: 8 Facts About Our Faces

Our services (every face shape is welcome!) include under eye filler, cheek filler, jawline filler, chin filler, temple filler and smile line filler.

Here is everything you need to know about face shapes:

1.     The round face
This face has a rounded hairline and jawline. The width and length of the face is relatively the same. The face tends to be shorter and the cheekbones are the widest part. Mila Kunis is a round-face celebrity. Pixie and center part hairstyles are great ways to frame a round face.

2.     The square face
A square face has a forehead, cheek bones and jawline that are all the same width. Visually, the jawline and forehead look more pronounced than most other facial looks. The square face is more angular with minimal curves than the round face. Demi Lovato and Cameron Diaz are examples of square faced celebrities. A shoulder length bob is a great hairstyle to frame this shape face.

3.     The oval face
The oval face is longer than it is wide, a wider forehead with a round chin and jawline. Kate Middleton is an oval faced celebrity. Most hairstyles flatter an oval face.

4.     The diamond face
The diamond face has a narrow forehead and a small chin. A diamond face’s widest part is at the cheekbones, and they sit high on the face. Jennifer Lopez is an example of a diamond faced celebrity.  Chin length bobs are some of the most flattering hair styles for a diamond face.

5.     The heart face
The heart face has a larger and wider forehead. It gets more angled towards the chin and finishes in a point. Reese Witherspoon is a heart shape faced celebrity. There have been studies that have claimed that the heart shape face is the most “mathematically beautiful” shape. However, looking at the other stunning looking non-heart shaped celebrity faces we have mentioned, this claim seems dubious. Bangs in your hairstyle look particularly good on a heart shaped face.

6.     The rectangle face
The rectangle face has a square jaw, a long forehead and a face that is longer than it is wide. It is in many ways a cross of the oval face and the square face. Kim Kardashian is a rectangle faced celebrity. Layers with voluminous looks are good hairstyles for the rectangle face.

7.     Every face shape can embrace contouring
Many clients turn to injectable facial fillers and make up to create contouring. This is to balance angles, proportions, and features. The Restylane family of fillers is excellent for natural and beautiful contouring.

8.     How to determine your face shape
Break your face image into three parts: the forehead and cheekbone width, the jawline, and your face length. Most fall into one category or the other but there are definitely hybrid combinations. Genetics determine your face shape and you will likely have a face shape that is similar to one or both of your parents. Other than genetic factors, gender also determines your face shape. Different sex hormones can make your face sharper, squarer, or softer.

Injectable Face Fillers At Sculpt Spa

We use injectables to bring out the best version of a patient’s face. Our consultant will begin by assessing the shape of the face. We are not seeking to change the shape of the face, because that’s part of your natural beauty.

Be aware, your face changes shape as you get older. Fat, muscle and your facial skin change. As you age, not you may lose elasticity in your skin as well as in  facial volume, resulting in flattening of the cheeks, hollowing of the temples and under eyes, and an overall shift of volume and balance from the mid face to the lower face. Volume loss can be due to bone loss as well as the shrinking of fat pads that give your face its youthful appearance.

Sculpt Spa Las Vegas proudly utilizes the Restylane family of products to restore volume. The Restylane products are hyaluronic acid- based. Our staff is highly skilled in using the full range of product to create natural balance and symmetry to the face, while highlighting your best features.

Restylane-L, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Contour, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne and Restylane Kysse make up the full dermal filler family menu. Each filler has its own unique characteristics, and we leverage these for the perfect look that you want to achieve.
