Getting our bodies into the optimal shape is an on-going challenge. For some, seeking body contour achievement is a professional requirement. Our clientele from the Las Vegas entertainment industry has to have a body image strategy to appear on stage and present and compete effectively. Other clients desire the right look for various personal and self-esteem reasons.

Sculpt Spa Las Vegas is your ultimate destination to achieve your best tone and body aesthetic. Diet and exercise are the most important lifestyle processes in a body strategy, but even with those, there are some fat areas that do not seem to modify. You may want to seek out a service to help.

CoolSculpting Las Vegas at Sculpt Spa is your best option. CoolSculpting is the brand name for cryolipolysis, which is used to treat subcutaneous fat. Subcutaneous fat is the substance that is the visible body fat that “rolls” when you try to fit into too-tight garments. Our body’s ability to get rid of subcutaneous fat decreases with age. If with each passing year, you find it harder to slim down, that is probably why.

How CoolSculpting Works

Cryolipolysis freezes your fat cells and creates “fat necrosis”. The technique leverages the susceptibility of fat cells to damage from cold temperatures. The cells become injured through the technique and that triggers an inflammatory response by your body. That response then effectively kills the fat cells as part of a purge process. Macrophages are a type of white blood cells and move into action as part of your body’s immune system. They get called to treatment site and carry away the dead and injured fat cells as debris.

The professional team at Sculpt Spa Las Vegas is expert at administering CoolSculpting, making it likely your best choice for fat removal whether surgically or non-surgically removed.

Why CoolSculpting Is Better Than Liposution

Unlike CoolSculpting, liposuction is a surgical option. The surgical effects rightly raise concern with many clients. The process requires cutting, stitching, and anesthetizing. A vacuum intrudes into the body and sucks dislodged cells. The surgery takes 3 to 4 hours and requires a few weeks of downtime after the surgery. Where there is little pain from the CoolSculpting procedure, patients can anticipate moderate pain from liposuction for about three days following the procedure. Liposuction results are not quick as they are not seen until after the swelling goes down, which can take months.

5 Ways CoolSculpting Is Better Than Other Non-Surgical Fat Loss Method

What about other non-surgical options besides CoolSculpting? There are a few options. These include technologies that use heat or injected medication to reduce fat cells, where CoolSculpting uses freezing.

Here is a list to consider, and why CoolSculpting would be preferred over them:

  1. Injection lipolysis
This process uses a chemical cocktail in a series of 4 to 10 injections. The process can work, but even doctors who were involved in the clinical trials have concerns. There are reports of complications including infection, disfigurement, inflammation, and tissue death. There is not yet a lot of credible research, and the treatment is banned in Brazil, and not promoted in England or Germany. It is also uncertain on whether the liquified fat will be filtered through the liver or kidneys and cause damage or complications.
  2. Radiofrequency lipolysis
This process uses radiofrequency to heat up fat cells to death. It requires an average of two to three treatments to be effective, and there are reports of lumps and tenderness post procedure. It also appears to only last for up to four years.
  3. Laser lipolysis
There are hot laser treatments that work, in theory, similarly to CoolSculpting. They use a hot laser to kill the fat cells. This process is not well tested however, and there is no assurance that it is as permanent as CoolSculpting. There are also cold laser treatments that use a “cold laser” to, in theory, freeze fat cells for bodily disposal. It is considered to be a “very gentle” treatment, but for good reason. It essentially does not work. More specifically, specialists criticize it for being “ineffective.” A strict diet is required following the treatment. (The effect is actually more due to the diet than the laser.)
  4. Red light therapy
Red light therapy is low level laser therapy and requires up to 10 sessions, each spaced out about a week apart. The mechanism is unclear and controversial. It is assumed that it breaks down the fat cell membrane so that fat can leach out into your system. The cost is very high, and the results are described as “modest at best.”
  5. Ultrasound fat reduction therapy
This process uses high frequency sound waves to liquify fat cells and flush them through your body. It has limited application to only some parts of the body.  In some cases, the skin won’t absorb the fat evenly and can create lumps, bumps, and valleys. The sessions are longer than most other methods and require about three sessions every other week. It takes up to 12 weeks to see results.
